“Loneliness Was a Pandemic” by Olivia Haller is an exciting new play:
Set in a world controlled by Robots, one human artist is forced to teach the robots to do the one thing they cannot do alone: create art.

Emily Sullivan
Human 1
Emily is a proud Indiana University alum. Experienced on stage and screen, Emily especially loves classical and new work. Favorite credits include Two Tickets to Mars (film, Austin Film Festival 2021), Three Sisters (Irina), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), Henry V (Henry V), and Crumble: Lay Me Down, Justin Timberlake (Mother). Jonathan A Hanna
Robot 1
Jonathan is a Jersey boy, born and raised, and excited to be making his staged reading debut in LWAP. Some of his credits include Netflix's Dating Around, adult swim's The Eric Andre Show, HBO's Succession, and an upcoming role on hulu's Ramy. Fun fact: He’s a real-life George Constanza aka hand model. In his free time, he loves cooking, baking, cycling, and running. He's been living in NYC for the past 11 years and would like to thank God, his family, friends, Drew (manager), and Dani (hand modeling agent) for their support. He’d like to thank Alex K. Allie Demers just graduated with a BFA in musical theatre from Indiana University. Past credits include, for Summer Theatre of New Canaan: The Light Princess (Gravitron, u/s Princess), Pippin (u/s high priestess), Singin’ in the Rain (ensemble). For Coronado Playhouse: And The World Goes ‘Round. Other favorite credits include: Into the Woods (The Witch), Head Over Heels (Gynecia), Big Fish (Jenny Hill), The Hunchback of Norte Dame, and Jasper in Deadland. Allie is also a singer/songwriter and has her music available on all streaming platforms.

Emily Oliveira (Human 2) is thrilled to be acting in front of live audiences again! Theater: Queen of the Hive and Cowgirl (both at Columbia University), ReNaming Shaim (Broadway Bound Theater Festival), Something Happens For Joe and Summer’s Soldier (both at the Williamstown Theater Festival). Caroline Younglove

Caroline Younglove is so excited to be working on her first theatrical production since returning to the city from a quaint farm in Alaska. She is a recent (2022) graduate of New York University’s Tisch Drama program, and studied under The Atlantic Acting School and The Lee Strasberg Institute. Currently she’s getting her passport ready to train and perform with Prague Shakespeare Company over the summer.

Olivia Haller is a writer from the DC Metro area currently based in Los Angeles. Her stage plays have been presented at or developed with Relative Theatrics, Convergence Theatre, Interlochen Center for the Arts, NextStop Theatre Company, Theater Alliance, Keegan Theatre, and Rorschach Theatre. Her play Loneliness Was A Pandemic was a finalist in the 19-20 Tennessee Williams Literary Festival One-Act Play Contest. Most recently, her original TV pilot The Off-Seasoners placed as a Semifinalist in the BlueCat Screenwriting Competition and as a Quarterfinalist in Final Draft’s Big Break Screenwriting Contest. Olivia holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University and a certificate from UCLA's Professional Program in Writing for Television. www.oliviahaller.net

Dixon Place
Dixon Place, an incubator for performing and literary artists since 1986, is a non-profit organization committed to supporting the creative process by presenting original works of dance, theater, music, puppetry, literature, performance and visual art at all stages of development. Presenting over 700 artists each year, this local haven inspires and encourages diverse artists of all stripes and callings to take risks and push personal and professional limits.
